Dr. Megan Hardy

Associate Veterinarian

Meet Dr. Megan Hardy, a compassionate veterinarian dedicated to providing top-notch care for your furry family members. Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Hardy's journey in veterinary medicine began at the University of Kentucky, where she earned her undergraduate degree. Her passion for animal health then led her to the esteemed College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University, where she completed her rigorous training with a resounding "War Eagle!"

Our practice had the privilege of witnessing Dr. Hardy's exceptional skills firsthand when she joined us for a preceptorship program in the spring of 2019. Impressed by her expertise and dedication, we knew she was the perfect fit for our team, and we welcomed her to our practice in September of the same year.

Specializing in general medicine and preventative health, Dr. Hardy brings a particular focus to small animal dentistry, ensuring that your pets not only feel their best but also maintain healthy smiles. Nestled in Johns Island, Dr. Hardy shares her home with her husband, their adorable son Oliver, and their cherished fur companions, Ellie and Meeko.

With Dr. Hardy's expertise and heartfelt care, you can trust that your pets are in excellent hands. Join us in welcoming her to our practice!

“We absolutely love the kind and compassionate care our dog and cat get at Advanced Animal Care. We have had the fortune of working with both Dr. Steele and Dr. Hardy. They go above and beyond in being thorough and detailed in their care. Absolutely the best veterinary practice we have ever worked with!”  - Katelyn Campbell, Google Review, 8/3/22

“My husband and I came to their office with our sweet Angie who could barely walk. She was very very sick and they have taken such great care of her… We cannot thank the dr and the techs and the whole establishment…from the minute you walk into the front door , you feel like your the only patient !! I feel they saved her life and they are the most caring people. The dr even called us after hours… I just can’t say enough about this place I wish I moved here years ago” -  Laura Johnson, Facebook Review, 8/3/22
